Mari Shawcroft, M.A.
Manager of Behavior Support Services

Mari has her bachelor's degree in Psychology and Social Welfare from the University of New Mexico and her master's degree in Psychology, with an emphasis on marriage, family and child therapy from Chapman University. She has 13 years experience in cognitive deficits and dysfunction, cognitive assessment, geriatrics, acquired brain injury and counseling. Mari is a Registered Behavior Consultant in the state of Indiana and is a certified CPI Instructor.


Pam Larr, M.S., Ed. S.
Behavior Specialist

Pam received her Master of Education degree from the Indiana University Counseling Department in May of 2006 and her Specialist in Education degree in May of 2007. Pam has counseling experience with children, teens, and adults with high behavioral challenges. She is trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and in treating individuals with personality disorders.


Craig Barnhart, M.S.
Behavior Specialist

Craig earned his Masters in Applied Health/Human Development, Family Studies from IU. He has worked with adults, children and adolescents in various settings including residential, community-based and school-based services. Craig specializes in behaviorally challenged populations.


Dan Button, M.A.
Behavior Specialist

Dan received his master’s degree from the University of Kentucky. He specializes in the study and practice of mindfulness and acceptance-based psychotherapies and has worked as a therapist and staff coordinator at Jesse G. Harris Psychological Services Center in Lexington, Kentucky. Before moving to Bloomington, Dan spent a year as a researcher, therapist and teaching assistant at the University of Maine.


Jason Linville, M.A.
Behavior Specialist

Jason has joined the Milestones staff as a Behavior Specialist. He most recently worked at Stone Belt as a Group Home Coordinator. Jason received his Master’s Degree in Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University. Before joining Stone Belt, he worked as a Licensed School Psychologist. He has experience in assessment and placement of children in school settings, and providing therapy to individuals with behavioral challenges.


Mary Kate Bristow, M.A.
Behavioral Specialist

Mary Kate was born and raised in Bloomington and earned her M.A. degree in Psychology, with a certification in Mental Health Counseling, from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa. Her career has been spent working with children and adolescents with behavioral and special needs. Areas of specialty include solution focused therapy, music therapy and behavioral disorders in the classroom and at home.
